How is it powerful?
1. Need to cost TWO to play. Mox costs ZERO. Cube is slow, only works in Standard/T2.
2. Need THREE to activiate. You want to double the mana pool right? That means you need to pay 3 FIRST, then, when you tap rest of ur land for mana, you get double.
Hence, how many lands do you have untapped after you tap 3 for the cube already? Say you have 2 lands after you tap for the cube, then you only produce 4 mana, which is less than 5 (5 would be if you just tap all your lands). So, it only work if you have 6 lands or more (assume you don't have elf/mox). TOO SLOW.
