Summary of how Planeswalkers work:
-Planeswalkers come into play with Loyalty counters equal to their loyalty
-You can use one of their abilities once per turn, including the turn they
come into play for the loyalty cost/benefit. (Although the article doesn't
say it, it would seem to be that it is only on your turn, otherwise Liliana
Vess easily locks your opponent out once they have no cards left in hand)
-When a Planeswalker has 0 loyalty it goes to your graveyard
-You can attack planeswalkers with creatures to reduce their loyalty
-If a spell or ability would deal damage to a player you can choose for it to
hit one of that players planeswalkers instead
-You can have multiple Planeswalkers in play at a time, just not ones with
the same subtype
