從10月的Pro Tour–Austin到11月的World Championships
擴充賽的套牌從Zoo, Hypergenesis, Dark Depths之主流, 演變成各式套牌之崛起,
環顧世界賽400多位精英中, 在擴充賽那天的6場賽制中, 仍有8種套牌是比較多人選擇的

1.Tezzerator
在Pro Tour–Austin並沒有很多人選擇的Tezzerator, 直到World Championships
出現5或6勝中有6副的優異成績, 其中的改變是白色殺牌的加入及神器combo: Sword of the Meek/Thopter Foundry,造成此套牌對Pro Tour–Austin的主流Zoo, Hypergenesis, Dark Depths都有不錯的勝率

優勢:All-In Red, Dark Depths, Hypergenesis, Zoo(kibler)
劣勢:暫無
平分秋色:Dredge, Scapeshift
主力:Tezzeret the Seeker+Trinket Mage(找神器)
+康牌Spell Snare/Muddle the Mixture
+白殺Path to Exile/Wrath of God
+神器Chrome Mox/Engineered Explosives/Chalice of the Void/(combo: Sword of the Meek/Thopter Foundry)

2.Bant
同Tezzerator, 在Pro Tour–Austin並沒有很多人選擇, 直到World Championships,
雖然5或6勝中只有1副, 但此套牌改良zoo怕All-In Red的缺點, 並對Hypergenesis及Dark Depths有較佳勝率, 但因為對zoo的勝率降低, 造成在世界賽仍是zoo的環伺下, 戰績仍是不突出

優勢:All-In Red, Hypergenesis, Dark Depths
劣勢:Dredge, Zoo(kibler)
平分秋色:暫無
主力:小生物Meddling Mage/Qasali Pridemage/Rhox War Monk/Noble Hierarch/Tarmogoyf/Vendilion Clique
+康牌Spell Snare/Mana Leak+白殺Path to Exile+優質神器Umezawa's Jitte

3.Scapeshift
直到World Championships, Scapeshift獲得大家的認同, 因為本身就有康牌, 所以同是combo型套牌中,
卻比Dark Depths, Hypergenesis擁有更佳的對抗控制套牌的能力, 但5或6勝中只有1副, 可見其為了增加強度反而犧牲combo型套牌中的速度, 或許是戰績不突出的原因

劣勢:暫無
平分秋色:All-In Red, Dark Depths, Hypergenesis, Tezzerator
主力:combo: Valakut、the Molten Pinnacle+Scapeshift
康牌Condescend/Remand/Rewind

4.All-In Red
此套牌從Pro Tour–Austin到World Championships都沒有改變, 雖然對加血/控制套牌勝率較低,
但憑著對其他套牌都有不錯勝率下, 在5或6勝中有4副的好成績

優勢:Hypergenesis, Zoo(kibler)
劣勢:Bant, Tezzerator
平分秋色:Dark Depths, Dredge, Scapeshift
主力:主力生物Demigod of Revenge/Deus of Calamity
加速手法Simian Spirit Guide/Chrome Mox/Desperate Ritual/Rite of Flame/Seething Song
克敵手段Magus of the Moon/Blood Moon

5.Dark Depths
在Pro Tour–Austin已是大放異彩, 在World Championships中卻因為大家都有刻意防備,
因此在5或6勝中只有1副

優勢:Dredge, Hypergenesis
劣勢:Bant, Tezzerator, Zoo(kibler)
平分秋色:All-In Red, Scapeshift
主力:combo: Dark Depths+Vampire Hexmage
找牌方法Tolaria West/Beseech the Queen/Muddle the Mixture

6.Dredge
此套牌從Pro Tour–Austin到World Championships都沒有改變, 雖然每人備牌都會放上幾張克制的牌,
但仍有許多愛護者使用, 5或6勝中有2副, 可見在處處被克的情況下, Dredge依然能挖出一條生路

優勢:Bant, Zoo(kibler)
劣勢:Dark Depths, Scapeshift, Zoo(Domain)
平分秋色:All-In Red, Tezzerator, Hypergenesis
主力:combo:Bridge from Below+Dread Return
Dredge生物:Golgari Grave-Troll/Stinkweed Imp
濾牌生物:Drowned Rusalka/Hedron Crab/Sphinx of Lost Truths
可以從墳場爬回來的生物:Bloodghast/Narcomoeba

7.Zoo(kibler)
自從Brian Kibler在Pro Tour–Austin贏得冠軍後, 他的套牌變成眾多zoo中的顯學,
原因不外乎它可以打贏同型的zoo, 操作簡單, 穩定, 因此在World Championships仍是大家的最愛,
因此在5或6勝中Zoo(kibler)有5副, Zoo(Domain)有2副, Zoo(Landfall)有1副

優勢:Bant, Dark Depths, Zoo(Domain, Landfall)
劣勢:All-In Red, Tezzerator, Dredge
平分秋色:Hypergenesis, Scapeshift
主力:主力生物Baneslayer Angel/Qasali Pridemage/Knight of the Reliquary/Noble Hierarch/Tarmogoyf/Wild Nacatl

8.Hypergenesis
雖然正邊從Pro Tour–Austin的Sundering Titan改成Sakashima the Impostor,
此套牌的似乎改變不大, 雖然對有些套牌勝率不高, 雖然它的運氣成分很大
但不可否認的它仍是一副好套牌, 5或6勝中有2副

優勢:Zoo(Domain)
劣勢:All-In Red, Bant, Dark Depths, Tezzerator,
平分秋色:Dredge, Scapeshift, Zoo(kibler)
主力:Hypergenesis
Cascade咒語:Ardent Plea/Demonic Dread/Violent Outburst
